Getting to York and the University
The best and easiest way to get from York city centre to the University of York is by bus. The main services that run from the city to the campus are the 44 Unibus company and the First Number 4 Bus:

If you are arriving by car, we recommend you approach the University from the junction of A64 and A1079 Hull Road on the east of the city, from where the University is signposted.
Entry to the Heslington East campus is via the Grimston Bar Park and Ride on the A1079 Hull Road. Use the Sat Nav postcode YO19 5LA; do not use the Ron Cooke Hub's own postcode. Limited parking is available, at £1 per hour or £6 per day.
