Heidi Fraser-Krauss

Heidi Fraser-Krauss has considerable expertise in and a passion for the use of technology as a means to deliver more efficient and effective services in support of teaching, learning, administration and research. Heidi joined the University of York in 2012 as the Deputy Director of Information and Director of IT Services.

Brian Morrissey - Head of Web Services, University College Dublin, ROI

Brian has worked in IT within the university sector for 30 years in a variety of roles (mostly on the customer side). As Head of Web Services, he is responsible for the planning, delivery and adoption of strategic enterprise services for University College Dublin. This includes the recent landmark transition of UCD Staff Mail to Google Apps for Education. Other enterprise success stories include the UCD Connect portal service and the strategic mobile platform, UCD Mobile.

Martin Hamilton was involved in the organisation of both previous GEUG events (GUUG11 and GEUG12). Martin has recently joined JISC as a Futurist. He is keen to talk to people about interesting new projects.

Nick Skelton - Assistant Director of IT Services (Infrastructure), University of Bristol, UK

Nick Skelton is responsible for IT infrastructure at the University of Bristol, where he is passionate about delivering services people are excited to use. In 1998, he established the ResNet service, making Bristol the first UK university to provide high-speed Internet in all its halls. From 2011-2013 he lead the introduction of GoogleApps@Bristol for all students and staff.
