Brian Morrissey, University College Dublin, ROI

Brian Morrissey is Head of Web Services at University College Dublin. Brian will talk about their experience in transitioning to Google Mail for Staff at UCD.

This was a significant project involving a good deal of preparation and an implementation phase which lasted 6 months. However, the results have been impressive and in a recent customer satisfaction survey, UCD's mail service was valued highest of all services they offer. They transitioned 6.5 million mails in advance of a school by school transition phase of approximately 6,000 staff. Feedback is positive and they now have over 16TB of mail in use in Gmail. He also covered, to a lesser extent, Calendar and Drive adoption.
